I think people are still underestimating stock-paired memes.
memecoins are one of the best attention engines crypto has ever created. stocks are some of the most recognizable assets in the world.
put those two together and shit starts getting interesting.

@Apple already has the brand, the products, the news cycle and billions of people who know exactly what it is.

but here’s where the loop gets good:
base:0xa6af0cea8fbc93e1eccc00f1fdd9a0bba251fee1 is paired with Apple stock on @base, and holders can earn AAPL stock from the trading activity around it.
so now the community has an actual reason to grow the attention.
make memes. post. trade. bring more people in.
more attention can create more volume.
more volume creates more fees.
those fees can become more Apple stock for the people holding the meme.
the community isn’t just marketing the coin anymore. it participates in the value it helps create.
$BLUECHIP is doing another version of this with NVIDIA.
and I think that’s the bigger idea here.
stocks have value but almost no native internet culture.
memecoins have insane internet culture but usually nowhere for that attention to go besides the meme itself.
stock-paired memes connect the two.
the meme becomes the culture and distribution layer for the stock.
the stock gives the meme an asset, a narrative and an economic loop bigger than itself.
someone who might never open a brokerage account and buy Apple stock can end up owning AAPLc because they bought an iPod meme on Base.
that’s crazy fascinating to me.
Wall Street gets the trenches.
the trenches get Wall Street.
and Base sits right in the middle of it.
