Wait, watt?
The UK generates less electricity per person today than it did in 1968 - @OurWorldInData Think about that: AI, data centres, EVs, heat pumps & advanced manufacturing etc. You cannot build an electricity hungry future without abundant electricity. The UK is a shambles!

I’m Gen X. I spent my childhood terrified of quicksand, spontaneous human combustion and the Bermuda Triangle. Turns out I should’ve been worried about my knees.

Hey @GadSaad here's a classic example of Suicidal Empathy alive and well in the UK
He stole a drink. What is the man’s circumstances? I’m uncomfortable with scapegoating the poor for the condition of the country. Jenricks net worth is £4-5million, served in a Conservative government for fourteen years. Responsibility lies with you, not with this poor man.

How, just how? Dubai's brand new airport at DWC which will be the largest in the world and will have five runways is budget to cost £26bn.

Heathrow: - Heathrow’s third runway, at £21bn for just the runway, will be 10 to 70 times more expensive than similar projects elsewhere - Its planning application alone, at £800m, costs more than actual new runways in Madrid, Dublin, Chicago, Brisbane, even Manchester...

So much British TV is anti-white-male it's getting ridiculous, yes misogyny exists, no not everyone is the same. Must be easy to get a shower commissioned if you're a female feminist writer.

The scrolling experience on the Z Fold 8 (opened or closed) on apps like X and Instagram is far smoother and more consistent than my iPhone Pro Max 17 which seems to stutter occasionally

Everyone knows why the statistics look this. Yet the same political class who allowed this, will try and destroy your life for pointing it out.

I despair. The BBC has inserted harmful trans ideology into a range of programmes, from dramas to lifestyle shows to children’s programmes. It continues to promote gender ideology despite criticism that this does not reflect reality or impartiality. And yet now the BBC is getting rid of Mitchell and Webb sketches in an Orwellian scrubbing of relatively recent comedy because they apparently “no longer work today". Who they no longer work for isn’t clear. Humourless lanyard wearers, presumably. All this on a day when there’s another article on the BBC website insisting that this generation aren’t snowflakes. You couldn’t make it up. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c6jd…

What @neuralink are achieving is absolutely incredible, nobody should doubt that this research which is already producing real results will radically change some treatments in the future. The fact that this man can now speak using his thoughts is like something from science fiction. youtu.be/_j806JHhCRo?si=aqMt…

Why do so many care about inheritance tax when fewer than 5% of estates pay it? Because that statistic counts the dead. Our new model counts living pensioner households instead. 20% have enough assets to face the tax. Over 50% in parts of London. Thread:

This is just so terrible on so many levels
This made me feel sick, they somehow find this funny. We’ve got adult migrants sitting through seminars being taught basic British law on age of consent as if it’s a friendly refresher course, while tax-paying Brits are told to just accept this as the new normal.
