Mike Johnson says Dems would vote NO on curing cancer to deny Trump a win. Reality check: 204/204 Democrats voted YES on a cancer bill in April. While Johnson’s House cuts pediatric brain tumor funding and NIH grants. 4% funding rate. He’s not fooling anyone. 💀🤡

I gifted this article about Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent which details his bullying, his erratic behavior, and temper. He has lost an unusually high number of treasury employees in his first 20 months, including many he brought in that were Senate confirmed. He has already churned through three chiefs of staff. His staff is so afraid of his volatile behavior that they try to gage his mood before showing up to meetings, and celebrate when he is out of the office. This is a long read, but you also have the option to listen to it. wsj.com/politics/policy/bess…

10 years ago today GOP Sen. Mike Lee: “If anyone spoke to my wife, or my daughter, or my mother, or any of my five sisters, the way Mr. Trump has spoken to women, I wouldn’t hire that person, wouldn’t want to be associated with that person, and I certainly don’t think I’d be comfortable hiring that person to be the leader of the free world.”

Calls for the resignation or legal removal of Donald Trump increasing across the US.
Trump endorses the mass murder of nearly 14 million people as a "small price to pay" for the US to fight Israel's war in Iran. His MAGA cult cheers in the background at the idea of Iran mass murdering millions of US citizens.

Justice Alito held oil stock and was set to rule on a giant oil case anyway. I reported it in August. Last week, days before the hearing, the Court’s clerk made an announcement about him. Seven months late, and he wants credit. dworkinsubstack.com/p/trump-…

You’re absolutely correct Stephen Miller! The United States functions on a system of Law and Order based on the Constitution, federal and state laws passed by legislatures. Trump is a criminal and will be tried, convicted and sent to prison! No one is above the law here! #TrumpCrimeFamily #EpsteinFiles #LockThemAllUp

Trump is literally telling us he's about to attempt to take control of elections. We should believe him.
Trump shouts out Russ Vought and then says, ominously, "we have some big surprises coming up in a few weeks, right Russ? He's gonna be one of the important people in the history of our country."

Today I saw in person the damage done to the U.S. embassy in Riyadh. If the attack had happened during the day, it would have been a mass casualty event. More evidence of how unprepared Trump was for this war and how unprotected he left thousands of Americans in this region.

Here’s what I learned from this Middle East energy minister: Before Trump’s war, 10 liquified natural gas tankers moved thru the Strait. Today it’s 1 or 2. And the cost of insuring a ship has gone from $100,000 a day to over $1 million. A disaster for the U.S. economy.

Both nights I have been in Riyadh there have been urgent alerts issued about Houthi missiles heading toward the city. This is now a full blown regional war - just as every expert predicted if the U.S. attacked Iran. A disaster of Trump’s making.
Security Alert: U.S. Mission Saudi Arabia (October 5, 2026) Due to the ongoing security situation in Saudi Arabia and the potential for aerial drone or missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, the U.S. Mission strongly encourages all U.S. citizens to remain vigilant and follow the guidance of national alerts released by Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense. Something unprecedented happened during my visit to the Gulf. For the first time in 20 years in Congress, I was denied entry to U.S. military facilities and even meetings with military leaders. An order from Hegseth - that applies to both parties - to hide the cost of the war.

How do I know Hegseth’s order to deny access to bases to members of Congress is about a cover up, not about safety? Because I asked for a military briefing at the embassy as a substitute and was told the policy prohibited military leaders in the region from even talking to me.

I did not. I informed DoD of my trip verbally and in writing. Days before I left, I spoke to CENTCOM Commander Cooper in person and asked for a briefing while I was in theater. He believed my request was reasonable. But it was not approved. Because the point is the cover up.

The reason given is that it’s too hard to have Members of Congress visit active war theaters. But Trump says the war is over. And we all frequently toured war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. During periods of heavy combat. Because that’s our job. This is just a cover up.

This should be a huge story. What reason was given to block access and not allow you to speak to the generals there?
