I can’t believe Destiny 2 has ended. I remembered playing the Red War campaign and getting hooked, but I stopped because I didn’t want to get burnt out and not want to play when my friend decided to play (which never happened).
Then I came back during Season of the Chosen on Stadia and fell in love with the game, the lore, the expansions, the world, and played ever since (thank god stadia existed at the time; it saved my life so much from internet issues on my PC, so I could connect to my phone and continue a raid or the fact my hard drive was on the way out and all I could use was my browser unless my PC crashed).
And during that time, I even used money from my first job to get the $100 bundle that included a year’ worth of content, and that was so exciting to me.
And I managed to play every expansion up to The Final Shape and my god the Light and Darkness saga was fantastic, and now seeing the game being sunset sucks so much.
It was fantastic, and I’m afraid this is it, and either Destiny 3 will never happen or Bungie will shut down, or the next Destiny game is a PS exclusive. Either way, it was a fantastic journey.
