you may ask, why open-source this? first of all, building gadgets is fun. second, we want to unleash builders to explore all sorts of new and crazy ideas. we believe muse presents a special moment to imagine new kinds of gadgets, and we are excited to see what y'all build!
🚨 side project alert 🚨 Announcing Muse Gadgets, an open source ESP32 firmware and Linux sdk so that you can make hardware devices that work with Muse. Grab an API token from gadgets.muse.ai and point your favorite coding agent at the github repo to build your own peripherals for Muse.

I find something strangely profound about how polar bears always have this look of boyish innocence to them no matter what the context is. Even covered in the blood of his prey, the bear looks like a silly little guy. Much to learn.

now that the dust is settling on @matanSF vs @ScottWu46 , let's do a little post-mortem the issue is that most people don't understand Cog's business model
Hey Matan - CEO of Cognition here. I respect the work you have done at Factory but your allegations here about Cognition are not true. We have no interest in Factory’s info and Chris has never brought it up. He has not shared and would never share any information about you or Factory with our team, nor would we ever ask. Similarly, we would never ask our engineers or anyone on our team to collect info about any competitor under-the-table. Chris is an advisor to at least 10 companies, and he told you he was resigning as an advisor on Monday. The truth is we both wanted Chris and for good reason - he is a living legend with an unmatched reputation for results and integrity. Not only is he the only person who has built a sales org from the first sales hire to over 3B, he also has built incredible teams that he cares deeply about. His people love working for him. Again, I have a lot of respect for what you’ve built, but competing with integrity doesn’t include posts like yours.

If I was Trump going into a big midterm loss, I would just go out with a bang: Cut entitlements & close the budget deficit It will crash the economy and he’ll be hated for 2 years—but history will remember him for saving the country.

For a decade big VC funds sold founders on platform: all the support that would give them an unfair advantage. You don't hear much about platform anymore. Now the pitch is we'll pile on more cash so you can buy the market. Cash is the new platform

You must understand, France is the Schrödinger's cat of countries. It is simultaneously both the most right-wing and left-wing country in Europe, both the most innovative and most stagnant, the most complacent and most ambitious.
French President Macron: China is massacring our industrial base — partly through innovation after Covid, but also by subsidizing its companies eight times the OECD average. That is not acceptable. We are not respecting the rules of the game, and we are not protecting our companies. We Europeans have been naive. We said: "We are open to everyone because we want to trade with others." But in reality, we are doing much less trade with others.

My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

We're operating in an environment that rewards opportunism over focus and optionality over discipline. Hard to say how long this lasts, but that's the playing field right now.

Isomorphic is slower than traditional R&D and with $2 billion. No IND in 5 years. Not even real preclinical data reported; only vague Target D. If it worked then they woukd have an IND or they would say they’re doing IND-enabling studies. Safe to say no trial in 2026 and doesn’t seem like 2027 either.
Breakthroughs in frontier science rarely come from a sudden stroke of luck. Every major leap in AI drug design is the product of years of method development, rigorous engineering, and learning from what came before. Witnessing the rapid advances in deep reinforcement learning and frontier AI capabilities led to a deep conviction: we could apply these same computational principles to other complex fields, like the engineering of new medicines. That thinking led to the formation of Isomorphic Labs in 2021. Now, five years on, we have compelling evidence that our AI can unlock therapeutics to a wide range of disease classes. We are confident this technology will fundamentally impact how new medicines are created, from early discovery all the way through development. In this article, I share the massive opportunity we have to transform human health with AI, and offer a look at the real, measurable progress we’re already making today. isomorphiclabs.com/articles/…

I am a staunch Hindu, and precisely for that reason I refuse to outsource my Hinduism to the RSS. Hindu civilisation survived for millennia without a central command, membership card or ideological gatekeeper. Its strength was plurality, debate and the freedom to disagree. The moment Hindutva becomes an organisational project that decides who is a “real” Hindu, it becomes smaller than Hindu civilisation itself. My Hinduism predates the RSS, does not require its certification, and certainly does not need a political organisation to make it legitimate. The Sangh may organise Hindus. It does not own Hinduism.

When I worked in VC, I often found myself gravitating toward a literary phrase: "Suspension of Disbelief." Suspension of Disbelief became a forcing function to understand the base and bear case so well, that I could earn the right to dream BIG with founders. Proud to report that even though our models continuously leave me in awe, you no longer have to suspend your disbelief when it comes to what we’ve been cooking up. General Intuition has raised another $220M at a $6.2B valuation as we start making our models available. These are an entirely new class of foundation models, trained on billions of action-labeled videos, capable of acting in realtime in never seen before environments. 1/6
