@elonmusk Reserved a Cybertruck on day one β€” Nov 22, 2019. €100 still sitting with Tesla. Almost 7 years later Europe still has no type approval and no official path. Any plan, or should EU day-one reservists just cancel?

It is time to bombard NVIDIA with "Feedback" regarding DLSS 5 and WoW! πŸ’ͺ nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ… @Blizzard_Ent @Warcraft @nvidia

Copy β†’ paste β†’ send: "Dear NVIDIA Customer Care, I am writing to ask about official availability of DLSS 5 with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering for World of Warcraft, and more generally about when additional titles can expect support. I have seen recent demonstrations of DLSS 5, and the visual quality is genuinely impressive. I understand NBA 2K27 is the first officially supported title and that further games have been announced. World of Warcraft does not appear to be among them. World of Warcraft already supports NVIDIA Reflex, so there is an existing technical relationship with the game. Official DLSS 5 support would be of significant interest to a large player base, especially as the game continues to raise its graphical fidelity. Could you please share: Whether World of Warcraft is being considered for official DLSS 5 integration, and if a timeframe can be shared. How you recommend players request or track official DLSS 5 support for additional live-service titles. Thank you for your time. I would be glad to provide any further detail that would help route this inquiry."

Yes. It's the randomness of the world. I also do not go out and check in public "IQ and skills levels / Only talk to those people" … although I really should start doing this. πŸ€” The most interesting, funny, awkward situations in vanilla happened BECAUSE OF random encounters, just like in the real world, where you have super smart and skilled people … and dumbasses. That's what makes an MMO, an MMO. I though the retail crows is all against separation ... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€‘

That is not even controversial. BC added heroic modes, flying mounts, daily quests, badges, token gear, socketed gear, class parity ... BC definitely laid the foundation of systems that in later expansions were "perfected" to create the modern-day retail industry. People still remember it fondly, as the striking aura and appeal of vanilla continued to overlay everything otherwise questionable.

"It's in the TOS. Read the TOS. You should have played by the rules..." Do you even listen to yourselves? You guys all big fans of the death sentence in real life? Once more: it's a company's choice how to deal with a (minor) issue like this, especially after newly introducing this double-naming feature... in a BETA. They have all the tools in place. Renaming works. Simple tick of a box. They could have done a blank renaming push. Easy solution. In the meantime nobody needs to be "offended" in the game world, because until you're renamed you cannot log in. It would also "educate" people on what Blizzard considers "offensive" and what is not. Then for launch everyone would be on the same page. But they chose the "death penalty." At least in my case, and as I saw in a lot of other cases. No appeal. No probation. That is a deliberate choice you make as a company. Instantly alienate a lot of players and lose money, or be reasonable and give a second chance. Again, it's a game. People have different understandings of fun. People have different understandings of what qualifies as "offensive." And I find it particularly hilarious when those people throw in the argument of "grow up" in the context of A FUCKING VIDEO GAME. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Oh the irony... Blizzard chose how to handle it on their end. I chose my reaction. Refunds work. If not, chargebacks do. Keep in mind that attending on November 4th requires only a subscription. No woke Elves. Much of the goodwill toward those seeking a less β€œuptight” vanilla experience has already been spend. x.com/pwave_studios/status/2…

Oh look ... all the retards in the comments here turned out wrong! What a surprise! Not. πŸ˜’ "After further review, the Forever team writes that although the account contained characters with inappropriate names, the appropriate action would have been to issue character renames rather than fully remove the account from the beta. Access is restored, and the flagged characters got sent to the rename screen." x.com/ClipsForeverWoW/status…

After further review, the Forever team writes that although the account contained characters with inappropriate names, the appropriate action would have been to issue character renames rather than fully remove the account from the beta. Access is restored, and the flagged characters got sent to the rename screen. That is the punishment loop closing on itself. This same week, the blue post said Customer Service cannot and will not assist with any appeals, and the producer put the share of names that earned an exit at 0.18%. Now the accounts come back one by one, and nobody announced anything, players just started posting the emails. What is left is a rename and a beta slot, for the people who pushed until someone re-read their case. Was the reversal owed to everyone the first time, or should a bad joke name never have cost beta access at all?

They can pull every unused alt name from the database overnight and ban people who never even logged in. The guy screaming gold ads in Stormwind for three hours straight? β€œIt’s complicated.” 🀑

What is truly disappointing is that this name ban spectacle reveals one point clearly: where the company directs its focus. You can’t do everything and certainly not all at the same level of quality. Resources are limited. Yet if you deliberately choose to concentrate on manually reviewing and banning people over trivial names, it suggests your focus is misplaced. It indicates a company has lost sight of what really matters. This β€œissue” used to be very low on the list. Simple filter and blacklist, AI scan that prompts auto renaming, player reports all things reasonable in a beta and even in a release. Worry about bugs and important issues. But no .. we need to manually ban bad kiddies playing our game wrong. 🀑

… btw same company that can see every name you ever typed β€” including characters you never logged into β€” still can’t stop a gold seller yelling in Stormwind all afternoon. Priorities.

It could be soooo easy if only there was sane management. Retail = is for the retards. Forever (Classic+) = is for the OG gamers. But noooo .... we are doing the clownshow again! Cause it worked so well the first time ... 🀑

Love the people who put β€œSenior Producer, Blizzard” in the bio then pretend the β€œopinions my own” disclaimer actually works. It doesn’t. You’re tied to the company. Own it or stay off the clock. This is exactly why it always reflects poorly on the employer. As a company owner I’d fire them on the spot.

During this whole discourse I understand retail beta chucks more and more. Imagine being so devoted you have no spine. Daddy Blizzard says β€œchargeback equals a ban,” and your entire personality becomes β€œbetter shut up or you’ll get spanked.” Pathetic. Go kneel so nobody touches your precious retail achievements. 🀣🀑

That is more than half a million EACH month in subscription $$$, generated by Olympus members alone, for @Blizzard_Ent. Not sure if anyone in accounting is watching and may want to have a word with @FwoiblesWoW.
