Shame to see this - pool has been around for nearly 6 years and still has ~1.3 M in stake - steady block production with 795 blocks minted - I don't know the reason for this but the system should never have been designed that small pools cannot be sustainable @IOGroup - do something to protect smaller pools or are we only ever going to be happy with 500 large early adoptor pools with no growth and change in the system. @IOHK_Charles

📍 Reduce minPoolCost to 75 ADA: Vote: YES ✅ As Cardano’s block rewards continue to decline, the current 170 ADA fixed minimum cost places increasing pressure on smaller stake pools and their delegators. Reducing minPoolCost to 75 ADA gives smaller operators greater flexibility to remain competitive without forcing any SPO to lower their fee. The previous reduction from 340 to 170 ADA also did not result in the widespread “race to the bottom” some had feared. I view 75 ADA as a measured interim adjustment while Cardano continues developing more sustainable long-term staking incentives.

Cutting minPoolCost does not cut monthly earnings, it cuts the minimum wage. Pools can freely set their own monthly earnings. This argument is a strawman.

You stole the committee's work and twisted the result interpretation to suit your desired outcome. The established CIP-1694 semantics don't require an SPO vote at all. Ours was an attempt to go above and beyond.

At the very least you should have waited until they posted theirs and *then* posted yours. If your intentions were as pure as you state, this would have been a clean way to acknowledge their work and allow it to land with the weight of the effort they put into it.

Worth noting also that the Ekklesia voting process was absolutely top notch using calidus keys

10th highest participation ever by pool count 🔥 And this is also without any participation by founding entities or CEXes/custodians.

The SPOs who voted on the Ekklesia poll for CIP-50 collectively represented 1.46 BILLION ADA in stake with a whopping 98.6% of participating stake voting YES, marking it as one of the biggest landslide votes in Cardano history. AND THIS WAS AN OFF-CHAIN VOTE 🔥
