Hmmm... scratch that @KoinlyOfficial It's not working again! All of the $ADA withdrawal amounts are incorrect and not matching up to their deposits into other wallets/exchanges Did I say in my last post that that Koinly makes my life easier? 😂

This is exactly why I think the pools should be retired. A huge amount of this delegation likely came from Yoroi’s position in the ecosystem, not because thousands of users independently chose the future operator of these pools. Many delegators probably forgot they’re even delegated there. Handing years of accumulated, sticky delegation to one person while saying “no action required” is the opposite of encouraging active decentralization. Close the pools. Let delegators choose again. I feel like aim taking crazy pills that I even had to type this out. @emurgo_io how about actually looking out for Cardano for once.

Raising stakePoolTargNum has an interesting effect on pledge viability. Currently the optimal pool size requires about 75M ADA which is a lot. But by raising it to 1000, the optimal pool size shrinks to about 37.5M ADA, which is twice as attainable. And there are only ~123 pools that would be negatively affected by this change (and they can easily offset it by increasing fees) For well-pledged pools, this actually results in MORE rewards! Right now these rewards are flowing back to the reserve because so few people are taking advantage of the pledge benefit.
