I’m convinced New York is a social experiment. New bread store just opened (not a bakery, but a bread store): Rye I went in to grab a loaf, my friend and I took guesses on how much a loaf would cost I guessed $25 She guessed $80 based on the interior of the store $60 for a loaf of bread. There’s no way people with a fully developed frontal cortex are buying $60 loafs of bread

How to not be depressed: 1. Help someone else: you may not be able to help yourself, but there is always someone else in your orbit you can help either through a breakup or a bad day. Listen, console, give advice. 2. Romanticize your life: coffee + morning walk (you must leave the house). There is joy in the mundane, you must find it. 3. Errands: there is substantial evidence that getting up and completing concrete tasks can reduce depressive symptoms 4. Walk: at LEAST 20 mins a day of sunlight + moving your body 5. Curate your playlist: I love rap music, but found that listening to aggressive rap in the morning didn’t help me as much as listening to happy music 6. Practice gratitude: always be thankful, always communicate it 7. Tell someone you love them 8. Get up and do something: Ruminating can be stalled by something as simple as getting up and walking to the kitchen. 9. Take a shower: the ultimate reset. When I’m upset about something I take a shower and have usually calmed down by the time I’m out. *You cannot rely on anyone other than yourself for your own happiness. It is your responsibility. You can lean on others but it must come from within.

Vanity sizing has destroyed our country. We have fatties walking around thinking they’re a 4, when really they’re an 8. Save America. Make America skinny again.

New York is the darkest city in America. Why are restaurants so dark? Why are the bathrooms pitch black? So they don’t have to clean them as often? So women stop taking pictures of themselves? We must demand answers. The city of light needs to turn the lights back on.

🚨Here we go folks🚨 Testing just how down bad men on dating apps really are… We made Raquel heavier (allegedly), her bio is demanding a 6’0+, jacked, rich man. Cause that’s what they think they can get! How many dudes are still swiping right? The experiment begins.

Worshipping politicians and celebrities is a sign of low iq
The most miserable people in the world worship politicians and celebrities. The happiest people in the world worship their own quiet mornings, their own work, and the handful of people who'd show up during a catastrophe.

Corgi egirls exemplify the failure of Corgi's PR strategy The goal of pr is to create momentum and excitement around a brand. Instead, the girls became the story, no one knows what this little dog insurance company does other than employ egirls who tweet about their abortions. Yes, startups should use X but use it correctly, or be burned by your own.

It’s so weird how I manage to go viral for the most innocuous things. For instance, today I decided to take down a bread company and had over 1M impressions in just 2 hours. Last week I posted a photo, 5 “fixers” were unable to take it down. All this tells me is that fixers are a waste of money and X posters are the future of lobbying. You can get someone fired, end a relationship or even take out a company from existing past a week. Anyone on X can have this power, but I’m so glad it’s been bestowed on me. Happy posting!
