In my own head usually 🇺🇸
When I say “we are hillbillies” what I mean is we have random crap everywhere and the “tin” on our sheds doesn’t match because mismatched “tin” is only 9$ a sheet and we don’t care. Also, my husband can fix anything, we eat vermin, and we love Jesus! Also, we blurt out obvious truths that might hurt your feelings, but dang, bless your heart, some one shoulda told ya already. How rude that they didn’t.

My hair has once again clogged the bathroom drain and the Man is not here to rescue me. I must unclog my own mess.

I painted and lacquered these myself. I just finished scrubbing the heck out of these with a Mr scrubby… You can paint your cabinets and still have them look nice and be functional…. It takes patience.

I’ve been really going through it on multiple levels for a month or two now. (Physical health is good afaik, so no worries there.) I could use your prayers for wisdom, direction, and divine help.

I don’t know what this means, but same. Even my vitals reflect this. … all my physiological stress indicators let up when I workout hard. Which is counter intuitive. HRV increases RHR decreases Spo2 increases Deep Sleep improves. My body needs exhaustive exercise to manage stress.
Exhaustive exercise really kills the inner-sperg in me. I do basically zero introspection when the muscles are fatigued Secret to a happy life is probably just becoming a day laborer with a clutch schedule so you can enjoy a few cervezas with the hombres afterwards, then get a good night’s rest Mexican Fisherman story remains undefeated

Attention Catholics: Pick a parish and go there. Register if that's available. Go to Mass there every Sunday. Introduce yourself to the priest. The "we don't really have a parish, we just kind of move around" is not a long term solution that's good for your spiritual life or that of your family.

1.)I am not okay with this being the only way to check in. 2.) I don’t feel bad for using the bulletin to train the old guard on how to use QR codes.
Took my dad to a medical test this morning and the facility we went to sends you a QR code that you then scan at a kiosk to do your check-in. They literally had one live person if you didn't use the QR Code system and the line was 30 people deep. My 86-year-old dad uses a flip phone so if I wasn't with him he would have had to wait in that line. And I would say the average age of the person in that line was 80 plus. So we're making all the people with walkers and canes stand in line for an hour to check in. I'm all for embracing technology but this is ridiculous.

Never stop praying for your kids (and their kids and so on)
Of all the times. That day. That hour. She happened to enter THAT confessional. God is so good.

Our place isn’t listed yet. Our realtor (and friend) called and said he thinks he may have a buyer. I still want to list it though.

I’m not a night owl. I never have been. I’m high school I willingly left Friday night games at half-time to go home and go to bed. Youngest son is the same. This is how I know God is in charge. I’m old, 9 pm is late. Son agrees, but blames his early bedtime (that he wants) on me being an old early bird. We were made for each other. 😂😂🫡

🤬😡 “Lord, I know vengeance is yours… but why are you so slow.”
Moose was profoundly good. He loved our children. He loved adventures. He never met an enemy. He was gentle and kind. He did not deserve to die like that.

I became a grandma at 45. Best scenario for me - my kids and my grandkids. Not everyone can make things happen this way, but if you can - do.
The biggest argument I can think of for having kids young, is that your parents are still relatively young & can help you, or at least not in need of help themselves Raising young kids as an older mom you start running up against having to help elderly parents or extended family with failing health or god forbid, something like dementia Caring for the younger generation & the older generation at the same time is a monumental burden to carry
