Barr x Epstein Connections. 🧵
In 1973, despite Epstein lacking a college degree, Donald Barr personally hired Jeffrey Epstein to teach math and physics at Dalton. Epstein was about 20 years old, and a college dropout.
Dalton refers to the Dalton School, an elite private preparatory school in Manhattan founded in 1919, which has always served children from early elementary through high school, roughly ages 5–18
Donald Barr also wrote a science fiction novel in 1973 called "Space Relations: A Slightly Gothic Interplanetary Tale".
It depicts a planet ruled by oligarchs who buy and trade slaves, including underage girls, for sex.
Donald Barr is of course the father of William Barr.
Bill Barr served two terms as Attorney General—first under George H. W. Bush (1991–1993), then under Donald Trump (2019–2020). In both periods, Barr played roles that align with deep state protection and obstruction of investigations tied to intelligence operations.
William Barr worked for the CIA in the 1970s, overlapping with the Church Committee investigations and the early PROMIS scandal. He consistently defended the expansion of executive and intelligence power.
The Barr family is deeply embedded in Cold War-era intelligence structures by design.
Bill Barr worked at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis, which represented Epstein in that Florida case.
As AG under Trump, William Barr declined to recuse from the 2019 case despite calls to do so, though he did recuse from reviewing the 2008 plea deal; he later personally oversaw the post-death Epstein investigation.
Or course, it was also as AG under Trump that Barr oversaw the DOJ during Epstein’s death, which occurred under very suspicious circumstances: cameras disabled, guards asleep, cellmate removed, minutes missing.
So the case on Epstein's death gets closed and Barr walks away having helped defend US intelligence from the devastating revelations.

Why was the Epstein letter marked as being processed in VA?
The unredacted 2025 flight logs and "Little Black Book" entries identify a cluster of security and "information management" consultants with residential addresses in McLean, Great Falls, and Alexandria.
These individuals are listed as having met with Epstein’s legal team in August 2019, right before his death. The FBI’s own internal notes (released today) show they were looking into a "delivery chain" that moved materials from Manhattan to these Virginia-based associates.
In the 2025 files, several of these McLean-based names are linked to private intelligence firms that advertise "escrow services" for sensitive data, legal terminology for a dead man's switch.
Logs from the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) show Epstein spent several hours with his D.C.-based legal counsel on August 8, 2019.
Under "Attorney-Client Privilege," legal teams are allowed to carry voluminous "legal discovery" folders out of the jail without them being read by guards.
The theory currently being discussed by researchers (and supported by the proximity of his lawyers to the NOVA area) is that the letter was tucked into a legal folder on Aug 8, driven to a Northern Virginia office by a legal assistant or investigator, and then handed to a "logistics partner" in McLean to be mailed once the death was announced.
"Manhattan Correctional" is exactly how a high-level person or lawyer might colloquially refer to the building. If a "dead man's switch" was prepared by a legal assistant or an associate in McLean based on verbal instructions, they might have used the common name "Manhattan Correctional" rather than the formal BOP designation.

BREAKING: The Trump DOJ briefly published Data Set 8 of the Epstein files last night—then abruptly removed it.
Among the materials is a letter purportedly sent from Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics doctor and convicted sex offender. The envelope is postmarked just days after Epstein’s death.
The letter reads:
"Dear L. N.
As you know by now, I have taken the "short route" home. Good luck! We shared one thing . . . our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they'd reach their full potential.
Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to "grab snatch," whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system.
Life is unfair.

Additional records indicate the letter was submitted for handwriting analysis, though there is no clear indication that investigators ever reached a definitive conclusion about its authenticity.
The images of the letter appear in files EFTA00036086 and EFTA00036085.
A letter allegedly sent from Epstein to Nassar has been publicly reported before, including coverage by The Guardian in June 2023.
Chain-of-custody records (file EFTA00036087) show the letter was logged on September 25, 2019. Another document (EFTA00036076) confirms the FBI sent the letter for handwriting analysis, but the outcome—if any—remains unknown.
As of now, the material appears to be accessible again on the DOJ website under file EFTA00035768.
