Taking assets without authorization and withholding their return is a crime, not responsible disclosure. It is not white-hat activity. It is theft. Xu Jiayin (许家印), founder of China Evergrande Group and former China’s richest man, was sentenced to life in prison by a Shenzhen court today. He was convicted of fundraising fraud, illegal deposit-taking, securities fraud and embezzlement. Evergrande Group was fined RMB 8.82 billion; Evergrande Real Estate RMB 7 billion. All his personal assets are seized.

Ich bin gerade echt angepisst. Normalerweise sind meine Follower hochintelligent und gebildet, so dass man mit Ihnen auf hohem Niveau über die verschiedensten Themen diskutieren kann. Nur bei #Bitcoin geht das einfach nicht. Immer wenn ich irgendetwas über Bitcoin poste, kommt eine Horde von Leuten, die etwas völlig anderes hört, als ich gesagt habe und trotzden unterstellt, selber die Weisheit mit Löffeln gefressen zu haben. Diese Gruppe von Leuten kann sich nicht vorstellen, dass jemand einen verlinken Text auch noch gelesen und verstanden hat, sondern meinen immer, mit Anfänger-Argumenten dagegen halten zu können. Ich kann dieses Gequatsche von "der hat Bitcoin nicht verstanden" oder "ein Professor müsste doch..." einfach nicht mehr hören. Diskutieren Sie auf Fortgeschrittenen-Niveau mit mir oder lassen Sie es einfach. Ich will deshalb folgendes Experiment probieren: überlegen Sie sich einmal, was ich gemeint haben könnte, aber unter der Voraussetzung, dass ich allen Ernstes den Sachverhalt verstanden habe, den ich verlinkt habe. Es ist nichts besonderes Schwieriges, aber etwas, wovon es sich lohnt, es sich gelegentlich in Erinnerung zu rufen, und was auch in anderen Kontexten relevant ist. Ich bin sehr gespannt, ob es uns dann endlich einmal gelingt, hier eine hochwertige Diskussion zu diesem Thema zu führen.
