The problem I have with Buddhism is that every old dharma teacher looks the same: powerful in mind and spirit, but frail in body. I want the embodied version of Buddhism—one that unites spiritual insight with AI, information theory, physics, biology, health/medicine, and evolution. These fields all point to the same truth: the body is an energy system. It's not meant to be still. It's meant to move, pulse, vibrate, and express. The old Buddhists are so unhealthy because in their quest to sit quietly with suffering they are trashing their bodies. Our bodies are energy systems, constantly in motion, literally vibrating all the way down. As soon as you get the insight of the mind from Buddhism, stop sitting and start moving.

there is nothing that differentiates samsara from nirvana, and not the slightest difference exists between their limits.

samsara, "wandering on" nibbana, "blowing out" if ur having a conditioned samsaric experience then nibbana is obstructed, its very simple. it takes work for the minds habitual craving to escape proliferating kamma regardless of how non-dual the nature of reality is

the backrooms is actually the perfect metaphor for buddhism. you're stumbling endlessly through a maze of conditions you don't really understand. death is certain whether near or far at any given moment. there's a way out but its not at all obvious and extremely rare to find
people think buddhism is sunshine and rainbows but really it's kinda like this

why ur meditating is infinitely more important than how ur meditating. to escape a burning building the motivation of pain inside + pleasure outside is enough. seems to me the people compelled to "numb themselves" usually don't even believe they're in a burning building
everyone talks about how to meditate but no one talks about how there’s actually a lot of prerequisites to even be able to sit down quietly in the first place w/o feeling an extreme need to actively numb yourself with an external coping mech like phone or food or romance or work

also we're not shutting anything off. we're paying the closest attention to the nature of reality.

why do you need to provide a source for a claim based on the logic of such a structure? by regressing into the established literature rather than a functional pattern of the ideology you manufacture another cling

interviewer: I’m sorry we won’t be offering you the position me: {ancient disembodied whisper emerging from the ineffable luminous void where I should be sitting} was it the void? Interviewer: It was the void
