🚨 JUST IN: $59 MILLION for NYC “luxury” hotels housing illegal immigrants — RETURNED to FEMA. 4 employees FIRED.
DHS just dropped the hammer: Four FEMA staffers (including the CFO) got the boot for circumventing leadership and unilaterally cutting a $59 million check for New York City migrant hotels.
The money is being clawed back.
Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY) nailed it on Fox:
“These funds have been misappropriated going back to the Biden administration. New York City, a sanctuary city, has been wasting billions — with a B — on free housing, clothing, food, education, and healthcare for illegal immigrants, including criminal aliens.”
Sanctuary cities got away with this for years while American taxpayers footed the bill. Under Trump, that ends.
