This is an excellent step. Mercator projection is bearing preserving, so is vital for old-school navigation, but it makes countries near the equator look tiny, and northern Europe and Canada look gigantic.

If Israel has guaranteed and non-revokable "right of return" for Jews, and Federal Parliament requires all right to foreign citizenship to be revoked, how can we have any Jewish parliamentarians?
Every single Muslim holding public office in America is a trojan horse, and a threat to both national security and our republic.
We refuse to be silent.
Had an excellent chat with @neerav Bhatt regarding charging infrastructure. Well worth a watch if you are curious about the current state, and where things are going!

Amazing progress on Starship thermal protection. With the V2 ship the plasma would have been filled with sparks of ablating material and on earlier ships we might have even been seeing burn through by now. Ad Astra!
Tesla navigation really struggles with this intersection in Croydon, Victoria. Green is the correct route, Red is what it used to do, today, it tried to take me on the blue! Does anyone else have problematic intersections in their area?
Does anyone else find it ironic that the energy-dense batteries that underpin the EV transition also enable the portable power tools that petty criminals and climate deniers use to steal cables from EV chargers?
Sparking up at the chargo. @originenergy@Sungrow_Power site at Torquay, Victoria. Quite a long handshake, but settled into a good charge rate once we got going.
By the way, credit for "chargo" goes to @moylecroft. I think that we need a proper Aussie slang word to make EVs more appealing to the masses. I just wish that there were more chargos that could sell you a sausage roll!
It is not often that you see a tripling of capacity at a public charging station. @TeslaCharging upgraded their Colac, Vic site from a 3 stall V3 to a 10 stall (4,3,3) setup. Site power up from 250kW to 750kW. Great to see.

The Liberal and National parties never miss an opportunity to betray the nation and deny us sovereign independence from unreliable foreign powers. Shame on them.

Please help @TeslaAUNZ@TeslaCharging to cross the Nullarbor with Superchargers by suggesting Eucla as an upcoming Supercharger Voting location by following the video below:
Today we look at utilisation of public EV charging infrastructure in Australia over the last 18 months. The data is categorised by "Remoteness" a measure created by researchers at the University of Adelaide and widely used by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. 1/3
From the chart we can see that:
- The further you are away from a capital city, the lower the utilisation (duh!)
- The average utilisation of metropolitan charging infrastructure is around 14%
- Across all levels of Remoteness, utilisation is trending upwards
Should we subsidise the creation of EV infra away from major cities to aid in building out critical infrastructure? This was done in the early days of rolling out petrol stations across the country and contributed enormously to free travel across out "wide brown land".
I have been working on visualising the development of the public DC charging network in Australia over the past decade. What do you think of this? Can I improve in any way?
