Sports is very much on this up and to the right trend post Covid, but college football attendance is one I’m selling on. You’re going to start seeing more empty seats at places you’re not used to see them

Waning attendance has absolutely nothing to do with views on NIL or the College Football Playoff. It has 99.99% to do with increasing and inaccessible ticket prices. When the product is better on TV, you have to incentivize fans to go and programs just aren’t doing that.

I would absolutely hear this argument if the USC kid didn’t galavant around the stadium while Moore was down. What makes that hit dirty (and the one shown here) is the reaction of the defender who was so clearly proud of the shot he took and the clear underlying intent

Nearly identical to Dante’s today. 2 things: - only slide if you can get down plenty early (some argue dive vs slide) - never slide when trying to get a first down 1. I see so many QB’s get ruled down short because you’re down when you begin your slide 2. Defender is more likely to come in aggressive to prevent first down (leading to bad hits) Protect yourself as a runner to get the first

Rewatching Georgia Tech-Stanford and it’s abundantly clear Brent Key made a mistake betting his season on Mendoza based on namesake. Alberto looked good for Indiana but every situation was a lopsided blowout with a massive talent edge
