Glorifying Ratko Mladić is an insult to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide. As OSCE PA President, I led a delegation of 15 parliamentarians to Srebrenica last November, visiting the Memorial Centre for over 8,000 men and boys killed there.

Last Friday, during the audience with Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican, the OSCEPA delegation presented His Holiness with a copy of the Helsinki Final Act, a powerful symbol of dialogue, cooperation, peace, and of our shared commitment to building security through mutual understanding

Addressing delegates, the Pope stressed that no one has the right to violate human dignity, highlighting the need for justice systems focused on reintegration, education as prevention, and support for those affected by addiction.

It’s election day in Hungary 🇭🇺 OSCE PA observers are deployed across the country to monitor voting procedures. The Head of Delegation @RupaHuq is in Budapest observing the opening of the polls.

Ukraine counts on proactive and action-oriented OSCE role in the release of all our people illegally held by Russia – POWs, civilian detainees, as well as unlawfully detained OSCE officials Dmytro Shabanov, Maksym Petrov and Vadym Golda. Their freedom and Moscow’s regime accountability should go hand-in-hand.
