Poi sono andati nella stanza dei genitori, dove Amjad ha lottato con padre Ehud, e lo ha sopraffatto pugnalandolo molte volte sul collo. Poi sono andati via, ma Amjad tornò nella casa per cercare un'arma, sentì il pianto della piccola Hadas di tre mesi, e trucidò anche lei con una coltellata alla testa. Avendo ormai trascorso10 anni in prigione, lo stipendio che l'Autorità Palestinese versa ai due massacratori della famiglia Fogel è aumentato del 50%, passando da 4.000 shekel (1.203 dollari) a 6.000 shekel (1.806 dollari) al mese. In applicazione della politica volta a premiare economicamente i terroristi che assassinano ebrei israeliani, l'Autorità Palestinese ha pagato agli assassini della famiglia Fogel uno stipendio mensile sin dal giorno in cui vennero arrestati. Complessivamente, ad oggi l'Autorità Palestinese ha già versato a ciascuno dei due spietati assassini oltre 338.400 shekel (101.847 dollari). In base alla legge del 2004 sui "prigionieri e prigionieri scarcerati" e alle relative norme applicative, il vitalizio che l'Autorità Palestinese versa a tutti i terroristi detenuti aumenta in ragione del tempo trascorso in carcere (dunque è tanto più alto quanto più sanguinoso è stato il delitto commesso).
