10 years ago today, @elonmusk announced his Mars plans in the form of the Interplanetary Transportation System, now known as Starship at the 2016 IAC in Guadalajara, Mexico. This was when he used the underpants gnome meme and I’ve always wondered if back then he already knew Starlink would be the key to SpaceX’s future followed by AI prospects, or was it still just rocket launch services that thought would be the money maker. PS: I was there and it was the first time I asked Elon anything at a press conference. I remember being pretty nervous. I never imagined I’d hold multi-hour conversations about rockets just a few years later.

At a minimum, you will use agents for almost anything you currently do with a computer. They use computers faster and better than humans do. If you currently use a Smart Phone, think of agents as Smart Apps.

Looking back, as usual, Elon Musk was really onto something when he said phones will become AI handsets. Elon last year on JRE on where phones are headed: “I can tell you where I think things are going to go, which is that we’re not going to have a phone in the traditional sense. Tesla FSD -literally- saved my life last night as a crazed driver going 90+mph tried to pass me and another car dead even with me in a non-existent right shoulder. My car swerved left into the other car's lane and braked, avoiding being squeezed. If I had been driving I would've crashed into the maniac and probably bounced off the car on the left. Absolute rage at someone gambling with my life, but so thankful for FSD. A great reminder of why I use FSD as much as possible.
