It's extremely hard in 2026 to go into a thrift store and find anything good, but my advice is this: if do you spot one cool thing (a record that's not polka or gospel, a piece of vintage hifi equipment), keep digging. No one donates just one thing at a time.
The Kodak Charmera is one of my favorite things and it's on sale at Amazon for 15% off right now. It takes terrible photos and even worse video. 10/10, cannot recommend enough. Here's an affiliate link to get one for yourself: link.amazon/B0gLpwSqJ
Also, extremely envious of Parker (in the first photo) because he pulled the rarest variant with the translucent version. That one is the "?" on the box of available styles.
I have been blown away by the reception to my mod bringing all 30 2026 teams, rosters, and stats into Ken Griffey for SNES!
I'm now pleased to announce v1.2 which adds the 28 teams as they shipped on the cart in 1994 AND the 28 teams with real 1994 stats. See the new trailer!
Ordered this two days ago on Amazon. It's on sale for Amazon's thing right now. Canceled the order and ordered it again.
And just now, I realized it would have shipped for the lower price and arrived on Thursday if I'd kept the original order. link.amazon/B02lVJncG

Jog controls are the best for scrubbing videos. Ideally I'd have a big, heavy brass wheel that spins on commercial-grade ball-bearings, but this will do.
Heads up, the Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle is now available at Amazon. No no, this is a different one from launch. It comes with a 3-month NSO membership. It's also more expensive now. But still!

I remember in 2001 or so, my friend talking about this like it was a magical tome. "There's this book, it has all the Simpsons quotes." I made it my mission to track it down and ended up with the boxed set, which sits by my desk in case of emergency.
On October 3, 1997, “The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family,” an episode guide covering the first eight seasons of the show, was first published by @HarperCollins.
As a man of my word, my latest video is now live on my YouTube channel. This week, I give you THE TRUTH about how video game reviews actually work. youtu.be/Htj7S-RjH0M?si=_Rj0…
