Today, we launched a gacha-style marketplace in @setzapp. Here's how it works under the hood.
Holders put sealed boxes, packs and cards into one pool. Pay to spin and get one at random.
Odds are inverse to value: a $50 box is 10× rarer than a $5 pack. That makes the fair price of a spin the harmonic mean of everything in the pool (inspired by @fwadotfun).
Who rolls the dice? Not us. Every spin locks in a drand round that hasn't happened yet. A few seconds later, the League of Entropy publishes it, the contract verifies it on @base, and that number picks your pull. Nobody can predict it or steer it, and anyone can check it.

@setzapp contract infrastructure is powered by the @0xSplits platform.
Deploy: throwaway key deploys contracts, hands every role to two Splits accounts, then gives up its own.
Upgrade: 6h timelock. Admin Splits queues it with 2 human passkeys, automated guardian can cancel.
Run: calls proposed through Splits API as Ops Splits, automation key signs them, Splits submits as a User Op.
If the key leaks, it's removed as a signer. No contract roles move.
