This reminds me of when I was asked to go for a medical test at a hospital. After taking my blood sample, I was referred to another medical centre for a chest X-ray. They told me the results would be sent directly to the hospital that referred me. It took over a week before I finally received my offer letter. But during that entire week, I couldn’t stop thinking, “What if I failed the medical test? What if something went wrong?” 😂
If you're actively looking for a job, any day you don't submit an application feels like you've missed an opportunity.
Unemployment will mess with your mind in ways that are difficult to explain.
Even when you finally get an offer and you are asked to go for a medical, you will start battling another fear.
What if I fail the medical? What if something goes wrong at this stage?
Every stage of the recruitment process comes with its own anxiety.
You worry about the application, the interview, the assessment, the background checks, and even the medicals.
You keep hoping, praying, and trying to stay positive, but deep down, you're constantly fighting one fear or another.
The emotional rollercoaster of job hunting is exhausting.
