Which means 53% of everything the US borrowed this year was borrowed to pay interest on what it already borrowed.

Plus we already have effective antibiotics for bacterial infections. That was not the case with COVID19 virus.
Pneumonic Plague cannot become a global pandemic , it is far too lethal, person-to-person spread is inefficient, it is airborne in droplets but not aerosolised.
Distant spread is very unlikely.
We have good prophylactic antibiotics.
