Et cela me parle.

The pope's ministry to people with disabilities should make us ditch the R-word again. Why? Because in an age of AI and agentic machines, all of us will rue strengthening an ideology that reduces worth to productivity and intelligence. My latest. unherd.com/2026/09/retiring-…

Disgusting tweet. All I see is a pump-ed up group of my fellow Texas Longhorns

All I see is a bunch of University students who love their college, love their team, and love football. And yet all you see is hate. Because that's what you'll always be. A hateful racist little man who doesn't love his country or the beautiful people within it.
I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.

This is my son Brady at the @TexasFootball game with his pledge class. Bo thinks it’s a “problem” they don’t all look like and have the same skin color as Brady. I think that’s racist — and it makes me sick.

The image was one of exhilaration and pride, of University of Texas fans clad in burnt orange and throwing the horns Saturday night as they cheered the Longhorns’ comeback victory over No. 1 Ohio State. Bo French, the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commission, saw nonwhite students. statesman.com/opinion/editor…

Woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, and political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth. #ApostolicJourney #Cameroon vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

No congressional authorization for declaring war but you need congress to approve peace?
As I stated before, I prefer diplomacy if it leads to the right outcome regarding the Iranian terrorist regime. I appreciate the hard work of all involved in trying to find a diplomatic solution. At this early stage, I am extremely cautious regarding what is fact vs. fiction or misrepresentation. That’s why a congressional review process like the one the Senate followed to test the Obama Iranian deal is a sound way forward. Fair and challenging questions with a full opportunity to explain, and a healthy dose of sunlight is generally the right formula to understand any matter. Simply put, kick the tires.

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.

So how will we pay for single payer healthcare? One of the things I admire about Bernie Sanders is he is honest that people need to pay taxes to fund foundational social services in healthcare, education, & childcare. The taxes should be progressive. But the math needs to work.
0% state income tax for California families making under $100,000. That’s thousands of dollars back in your pocket where it belongs. As Governor, I’ll work the issue at both ends—lowering taxes for those who are struggling and raising them on the biggest corporations that can afford to pay.

An 18 year old kid can be sent to die in a war of choice but is not allowed to have an opinion on that war?
If an 18-year-old kid has extremely strong opinions on Israel and foreign policy, something’s wrong there. That’s not an opinion earned through years of learning and life experience. It’s the result of a kid spending hours on his phone, being conditioned by an algorithm.
