Some of these women are breast cancer survivors. Some have watched their mothers, sisters, aunties, relatives and friends go through the painful journey of breast cancer. Some have witnessed the physical and emotional struggles, the treatments, the surgeries, and even the loss of a breast. And when they speak, they speak from a place of experience, pain, and love. They are not just telling you to check your breasts; they are reminding you to pay attention to your body because they don’t want another woman to experience what they or their loved ones have experienced. Behind every reminder to get screened is a story. Behind every voice advocating for awareness is a woman who knows how much early detection can mean. This is why awareness matters. This is why we must keep talking. This is why we must encourage the women around us to check their breasts, know their bodies, and seek medical attention when something feels unusual. Don’t wait until you feel pain. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Your health matters. Your life matters. 💗 We ended Pink October with purpose. Yesterday, October 31st, we took a step beyond awareness and turned our commitment into action. In partnership with the @MagicBawls community, @Avni_Mohindra and all our supporters and volunteers, CryptoForHer carried out a Breast Cancer Awareness Outreach to educate, encourage early detection, and remind women that taking care of their health should never be an afterthought. It was more than an awareness campaign. It was about starting conversations, breaking the silence, and reminding women that early detection can save lives. As we step into November, we carry this message with us: breast cancer awareness shouldn’t end with October. To our partners, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who made this possible, thank you for being part of this impact. Awareness is powerful. Early detection is lifesaving. And together, we can do more.
