Hello @Dev_Fadnavis bhau It’s a free hit. Over to you now
विशेषतः 🇮🇳 x.com/BladeoftheS/status/211…

My whirlwind Kolkata pujo immersion included the large public pandals with a sea of people, Rajbari functions, para & society pujos ,& celebrations at private homes. We did anjali at the Kashi themed pandal at Salt Lake (GD block), took a trip down memory lane at the husband’s childhood colony in Ballygunge, & did Astra daan at the stunning, kumhaar themed pujo at a friend’s home. Now I have to pay attention to my Devi in Delhi. Shubh Ashtami everyone 🙏🏼
Today we went to Shobhabazar Rajbari in North Kolkata. They have two pujos ,split across the Boro & Choto Rajbari, which are diagonally opposite from each other. At the Boro Rajbari ,the Devi’s mount is a horse faced lion (Ghotok-bahini). The Choto Rajbari Protima has a silver overtone as beaten silver foil was traditionally used to craft the ornaments. The Rajbari pujo was started in 1757 & their guest list includes Robert Clive, Warren Hasting & Swami Vivekananda.

The Durga Pujo in the home of Rani Rashmoni - businesswoman, social reformer, builder, fierce defender of Sanatan Dharma. This is the Protima (done in same style) where Ramakrishna Paramhas, no less, would conduct the rituals. Modern Hinduism emerged right from here. Needs a national effort to preserve it.

This is Italy. All over "Regime Change" Ops are propelled by the belief that street power can override electoral power. Q: WHY DO SOCIALISTS, TRADE UNIONS, LEFT GROUPS RESORT TO RIOTING? Answer: That's because some radical Left movements regard parliamentary democracy as insufficient to deliver structural change. AREN'T THESE THE EXACT SENTIMENTS OF YOGENDRA, BHUSHAN, BORA?

The images from France are sad. Terrible. This is what happens when floodgates are open to barbarians & the police is disempowered. I don’t see how France, or for that matter, Europe, is going to handle this crisis now.
Pauvre Paris. Pauvre France.

Kabhi kabhi toh apun ko aisa lagta hai ki yeh Prashant Bhushan hee apna Dhurandhar hai. Desh ko hilane ke naam pe purey opposition ko hila diya hai.
Why is the BJP apoplectic with feigned rage on the use of the phrase 'regime change'? 'Regime change' is normal in a democracy The duty of the Opposition is to 'oppose, expose and depose' the government Which means: oppose in politics, expose in Parliament and depose through elections

Visited a few Durga Pujos as part of the Shyama Prasad Durga pujo Sanman. Thank you @Abhijit_Basak83 for organising this award every year. It's a beautiful experience visiting and judging so many pandals.

This is my first ever pujo in Kolkata & I absolutely love it. Some of the pandals are spectacular, the streets are lit up, every para & almost every lane has their community pujo, & the energy is buzzing. Happy to see that even the Hyatt had a Sholar Durga Protima & the entrance had a full pujo vibe.

The Dance of Fire 🔥 Inside Gujarat’s 70-Year-Old Mashal Raas In the streets of Jamnagar, Gujarat, Navratri features an extraordinary visual tradition: the Mashal Raas (or Angara Raas). Dancers move in tight synchronization holding dual flaming torches, dancing barefoot directly over a ground scattered with burning embers. To the beat of the dhol and traditional chanting, dancers rotate live torches in rhythmic unison. Where Does It Come From? Back in the 1950s, local communities in Saurashtra, especially around Jamnagar, began performing this unique form of Garba during Navratri. Traditionally, it happens late at night during the final days of the festival. Long before it became a ritual dance, manipulating torches was part of traditional warrior training in Saurashtra, used by soldiers for night patrols and agility drills. Over time, those martial drills transformed into an offering of devotion, formalizing into this community tradition after 1950s. In Indian tradition, fire represents purity, energy, and inner courage. This is community devotion, focus, and physical discipline in its purest form. Have you ever witnessed an Angara Raas live? Share your thoughts below. Vocal - Praful Dave #Navratri #Gujarat

This is classic word salad to try & salvage something from the train wreck. But it won’t work. We heard Neha say that (the violent uprising in) Bangladesh showed them the way. We heard Prashant Bhushan say they want regime change. That ugly lot is a blot on the nation. Traitors.
Delhi: Actor Prakash Raj, commenting on advocate Prashant Bhushan's statement on regime change following Neha Bora’s remarks, says, ''There should indeed be a change of government, but in India, it must happen peacefully and by following the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. Regime change will not happen in this country in the manner being suggested. If Neha referred to Bangladesh, where young people brought about a change of government, she was talking about an idea. The way the media is portraying it makes it seem as though regime change is being advocated through violence, which is not the case. India’s youth will bring about a change of government peacefully through peaceful protests.''
