Sooo uhhhh it stopped a move because it exceeded the force limit. Sorting blocks in sim with a reset button is one thing, contact-rich stuff on real hardware is where specialized models still live
gpt-6 astra sorting blocks on a moving conveyer belt in real time (not sped up) astra can only take POV pics (left camera) and move using exact x, y, z coordinate tool calls this is just ~190 TPS on codex. imagine when these generalized agents r at 1K+ TPS pretty soon

A black hole's event horizon is a boundary in spacetime beyond which every future-directed path leads farther inward, so no signal can return to the outside universe. The glowing structures in black-hole images come from hot matter outside the horizon. Light can orbit temporarily in a photon region, while gas in an accretion disk heats through compression, turbulence, and magnetic effects. For a nonrotating black hole, the horizon radius is rₛ = 2GM/c².

Sooo uhhhh how do you explain France running 75% nuclear for 40 years. The tech works great, the US construction and regulatory model is what flopped
Nuclear fission power is the greatest disappointment in the history of technology

NEW: The U.S. Space Force is generating so much satellite data that its communications network risks becoming a battlefield bottleneck, according to a new Mitchell Institute report. Military space sensors now produce up to 200× more data than two decades ago, but much of it still has to move through legacy radio-frequency links that were never designed for today’s volume. The report argues the Space Force needs to accelerate laser communications, which can move data 10–40× faster using beams nearly 1,000× narrower — making them harder to detect, intercept and jam. It also calls for more AI and edge processing onboard satellites so they can filter and prioritize the most important information before sending it to commanders. The warning is straight forward: the U.S. is rapidly adding sensors in orbit, but unless it upgrades the network connecting them, the data may arrive too slowly to matter.

Yahoo NOTAM chain (FAA + USCG + NAVAREA) out a day ahead = trajectory locked. Stepping hazard areas toward Bermuda plus this much silence? I'm calling customer-quiet HASTE hypersonic test. Now watching for pad imagery.

Sooo uhhhh did we forget how test programs work? They recreate the anomaly, nail the root cause, fix it, fly again. Literally every rocket ever developed did this. Same ending my ass
Living like this must be exhausting.

They're missing the main point, plus state @Starlink is not reliable (for reference see post below) - 4 of these ISPs are terrestrial based and there's large tracts of land where they don't provide any coverage, the other is Viasat, Lol Starlink of cause covers 100% of the US... "Beyond cost, another major factor for people who need to rely on the connection every day is Starlink's reliability. That's why it's worth looking at other Starlink alternatives, many of which don't require satellites and may be cheaper than Starlink. For those in the countryside, these solutions can cut monthly costs without sacrificing a reliable connection for everyday tasks"
STARLINK IS NOW COMPETING WITH THE BEST-RATED ISPs 🔥 The latest CNET People’s Picks study gives Starlink an overall satisfaction score of 4.47 out of 5, compared with 4.20 for T-Mobile Home Internet and 4.16 for Verizon Fios. The reliability result is even more interesting: @Starlink scores 4.59 out of 5, only slightly behind GFiber at 4.70. A few years ago it would have been difficult to imagine a satellite broadband provider being perceived as this reliable. "Satellite broadband was supposed to be the compromise. Now Starlink sits alongside some of America’s highest-rated broadband providers, revealing what customers actually value most."

We design, build and operate world class satellites already. Launch is the gap. Too many Canadian missions wait on someone else's schedule. A small launcher out of Canso covering SSO and polar trajectories would close the loop.
Something interesting is happening in Canada’s space industry. 225 LEO satellites. Canadian manufacturing. Arctic communications. A Nova Scotia spaceport. Domestic launch technology. These aren’t separate stories. Canada is assembling the pieces of a domestic space capability. It can already design, build and operate satellites. Launch is the remaining gap. How important is independent access to space for Canada? #Space #Canada

lmaooo this is the greatest children's book ever written. The engine covers send me
If you give old space a contract, he needs additional funding because delays. If you give additional funding, then you can't cancel because sunk cost, and "look at our shiny metal parts! It's so close to done". Don't ask how close means billions more and years to go.
