This woman isn’t. Either she’s faking it or she’s covering for her husband. I’ve jumped out of the second story twice until I got yelled at.
First: shortcut, boy-crazy, and showing off.
Second time I needed to catch the school bus; I was running late.
I have depression, ADHD, and anxiety, and I had two kids. Yes, I had postpartum depression.
I was so tired, down, feeling like I was trapped. My life is a failure.
I noticed something was wrong. I asked for help. They gave Prozac and Adderall. It took the edge off. It’s still there. You still have to learn ways to overcome the challenges.
They will teach you. If things get worse again, there are a lot of groups specifically for you, Christian or nonbeliever.
The thing is, you need to want to get better. You need to be willing to put in the work if you want the help.
Trust the process.
Postpartum depression is not a kill-switch on your kids. It’s all about you. Clancy is playing games!
