On a personal note…speaking as an American and not as a journalist…I was overwhelmed with deep emotion and overwhelming pride observing close up President Trump’s military review with President Xi of China today in the Rose Garden. Seeing President Trump, Vice President Vance, the First and Second Ladies and Cabinet members standing alongside President Xi’s delegation (who look like my ancestors). I was closely watching our American leaders’ faces and I think they were feeling the same way I was. Watching the great members of our military march and perform. Seeing this up close at the White House right there in the Rose Garden. On a personal level I can’t believe how blessed I am to be a member of the White House Press Pool in a time such as this. …because my soul gets to be touched & reminded in moments like these how insanely beautiful it is to be an American.

If you look at the last two years, it's clear President Trump is preparing for something big. He's securing permanent security control over Greenland, kicked China out of the Panama Canal, and locked up 65 billion barrels of Venezuelan oil. For 25 years, China quietly bought up our backyard to gain a strategic stranglehold on our side of the globe. In just 20 months, Trump pulled the rug right out from under them. While the rest of the world fractures, Trump is building a completely self-sufficient Western Hemisphere. One where America controls its own destiny without bowing to Beijing or Tehran.

2 years ago most were anxious and praying daily for a Trump win over Kamala Harris. Since then, he has delivered on every issue. You name it, he delivered. Now, is the work done, and is every issue completely fixed? No, and of course not, but he did pick up every issue, he made things better, and he will continue to stack wins. There’s no reason to assume he won’t given his track record. Relax and let Trump finish the job. That’s what we voted for.

Blaming President Trump for every bill that hasn’t become law is wild. He does not pass statutes by himself. Congress writes the bills, Congress votes on the bills, and Congress can stall, water down, or bury them. A president can push, sign, veto, and use the bully pulpit. He cannot pull out a magic wand and make everything YOU want happen while the House and Senate sit on their hands. Ask yourself: Have you called YOUR congressman or congresswoman? Have you called both of your senators? Have you educated a single voter? Or are you just yelling at the one office that cannot legislate alone? If you want results, pressure the people who actually cast the votes; and show up when it counts. Trump is not Congress. The Constitution didn’t give him a wand. It gave you representatives. Use them.
