I made the new iPhone Duo animation in @splinetool V2. I asked Astra to create the blur effect and gave it some images from the Apple website. It wired up the webcam for me and recreated the main UX. The directional blur is done in code, with spline.createCustomMaterial and some WebGPU TSL ;)

Wait… what if Apple animated its logo in the iPhone Duo style?

That iPhone Duo animation effect is pretty easy to recreate in @splinetool 🫰 I actually made this back in January. Just added progressive blur today, and now it looks even more familiar 👀 Guess I caught the trend early 🍏

Astra is good at modelling! I did this in @splinetool, I gave it a picture of the spaceship from The Mandalorian and it has recreated it mostly faithfully, later I told it to add the landing animation as well, it feels like it has weight! Should I make a quick game proto? 🤔

I have a friend who's an architect and works near my office, so I wondered how I could use @splinetool v2 to create an interactive presentation of his new projects for his clients. With the AI agent Astra, I generated a house floor plan and asked it to build the house and present it as a beautiful animation. You can see the plan on the left and the animated interactive scene on the right, all built in the Spline editor. I just showed him the demo. He loved the animation, he was impressed, but immediately spotted errors in the AI-generated floor plan :) He's bringing me a real one tomorrow, so I'll test with that next time. It's pretty cool to see that animation made with just a few iterations.

I built a floating island generator with @splinetool V2. I asked Astra to build the whole configurator from an image I had generated. Every element: house, windmill, little garden, is a group of objects you can edit directly in the editor. Need a different type of building? Just drag in an image of a castle and it gets added to the random generator. Link in the comments ⬇️
