The one you should reconsider is calling X by the correct name.
That's not just a whim of an idiot, that was actually a real, legitimate, corporate name change. The app is no longer called Twitter, it's called X. Tweets are now called Posts.
Doing anything else is exactly the same as Elon Musk calling his daughter Vivian by her deadname.
Douyin is now called TikTok, FutureSplash is now called Flash, Picaboo is now called Snapchat, and Twitter is now called X.
Is it a GOOD name? No. It's terrible from every possible angle. But is it the official name? Yes.

Can I vent for a minute? Thanks. We need to do better for nurses, and our healthcare system is such trash.
After nearly a decade, I parted ways with one of my nurses over creative differences. This means I need to find someone I can trust to help my life be better for the next decade. My agency has now sent me 2 nurses who seemed amazing and who I would love to work with, except their hourly rate offer from PA MedicAid is so low they can't accept it. So I'm still looking.
How low, you ask, big dog? It's abysmal. A nonlicensed PCA earns only around $15 an hour, and an LPN is somewhere around $22-ish, depending on your agency. You can make more money by being a Walmart greeter!
FFS. How are home care patients supposed to keep finding good medical people to keep them alive if most nurses would be better off flipping burgers, with way less school and way less responsibility? This does not make sense. Value nurses!

Twitch is making the right move here, but it's definitely a case of why we can't have our cake and eat it too. Abusers could pay people with, say, 1000 bots to co-stream with them to get visibility.
A lot of people don't consider that some people used this legitimately, and it helped take your combined accounts to a level where you could compete with people who have hundreds of regulars. It was a good idea and helped people with fewer viewers, but once again, God forbid we have nice things.
Twitch is addressing Shared Chat/Viewership abuse by no longer showing Combined Views in Browse when you sort from High to Low.
It will now show individual viewership.

There’s a funny disconnect between how people sometimes picture my life with a disability and a photo like this. They see the disability. I’m over here celebrating another birthday with my beautiful girlfriend, friends, cake, and emotional support chicken nuggets.
Yes, life can be hard, but there’s still so much of it to love.
Thank you for being here with me. For laughing with me, caring about me, and sticking around. You’ve made my life better, and I hope you know that.

Remember, friends: thanks to X's creator program, people like this loser farm rage over things that don't exist to pay the rent.
The orange triangle is an option in the accessibility menu that you can turn off, and to make it appear, you have to press R3. He is literally trying to make this look as bad as possible to make fun of it so people rage at Insomniac or respond by calling him out —either way, he makes money.
As an added bonus, you can see people in the comments making fun of accessibility. The more this happens, the more people are using accessibility to bash games.
The BEST thing you can do is block; it tells the algorithm that his content is not worth reposting, and the more people who block, the fewer people will see his content, and then he and the other rage farmers will have to figure out a productive way to make a living instead of making up reasons to shit on other people's creations.

Time, I’m running a little low on.
I’ve spent 25 years working in disability technology, and today I direct Mount Sinai’s Back-to-Life Center.
Here’s the problem I can’t stop thinking about:
No one teaches disabled people how to be disabled.
The healthcare system can save your life, stabilize you, rehab you—and then, far too often, send you home to figure out the rest yourself.
How do I use technology to regain independence?
How do I work?
How do I date?
How do I travel?
How do I find the tools that make everyday life possible?
How do I build a life instead of simply surviving one?
The answers exist. The technology exists. The knowledge exists.
But there’s no real bridge connecting people to it.
So here’s my birthday ask:
Let me send you one email laying out how I think we can build that bridge.
No pitch deck. No ask for a check.
If you think there’s something there, point me toward one person, company, or organization you think I should be talking to.
That would be one hell of a 46th birthday present.
