They did the same for our daughter when her partner hit head-on a car escaping police on the wrong side of the M1. She travelled up to Leeds on a different booked train and upgraded by @LNER to be by his side. No charge. Now they're married with a beautiful daughter. Thanks LNER

Shout out to Kings Cross ticket office! Younger daughter, learning difficulties, Disabled Person's railcard travelling from Havant to Durham today, confused on the Underground,missed her booked train. Clerk rebooked her on next train, no charge.@LNER

Due to failure of the electricity supply to our railway at a location in north London overnight, a number of trains to/from London King’s Cross are cancelled today - I’m sorry if you are affected. Please see lner.co.uk/travel-informatio… for more information including other routes you can use. Engineers are working to replace a component on the electricity supply and hope to get the issue fixed by midday.
