“We’re gonna, like, make our products safe… [but] the world should accept some bad things happening. Because there will be tremendously, orders of magnitude, more good stuff than bad stuff.”
The purpose of a system is what it does.
“AI” extracts money, energy, and knowledge from the population—and sells the byproduct back to us as slop. There is literally zero evidence that it returns ANY of that investment other than data centers in everyone’s backyard.
Sam Altman is a sociopathic conman bred in Peter Thiel’s amoral elitist cult to believe that he has the right to make existential decisions for humanity. There is nothing behind his eyes.
AI is an extraction project.
In cybernetics, there is an important analytical tool:
“The purpose of a system is what it does.” (POSIWID)
It means ignore the INTENT of the system. Examine what it DOES—before anything else.
The functional purpose of the AI industry is EXTRACTION:
Knowledge, Energy, Money
It has done none of the things it says it intended to do.
It has not delivered on any of its promises.
The reality it has built is a public feedback loop that promises: “Just keep making it bigger and the entire system will suddenly become totally different.”
No, it won’t. It can’t, because this was the purpose all along.
