You may see this comment (either racist or patronizing) that "India has poor nutrition" from the Chinese online.
Yeah, India is poor in nutrition overall and where China was 15 years ago and fast catching up as per capita rises.
But here's how Chinese live for their nutrition:
Diabetes (adults 20–79)
China: 148 million
India: 90 million
Chronic hepatitis B
China: ~80–84 million
India:~30 million
Stroke (prevalent cases)
China: 26.3 million
India: 4.1 million
COPD (prevalent cases)
China: ~50–52.5 million
India: 43 million
Lung cancer (new cases)
China: ~1,060,000
India: ~82,000
Liver cancer (new cases)
China: ~368,000
India: ~39,000–42,000
Stomach cancer (new cases)
China: ~359,000
India: ~65,000
Esophageal cancer (new cases)
China: ~224,000
India: ~71,000
Nasopharyngeal cancer (new cases)
China: ~51,000
India: ~6,500
Adult overweight + obesity
China: 402 million
India: 180 million
Children/adolescents (5–19) high BMI

All data has been adjusted for missed/under reported cases in both countries. China is the diabetes and cancer capital of the world.
Also, one small note: protein is very important. Eating required protein for your particular needs (gender, activity, age etc) is important.
But too many studies have shown lesser protein consumption leads to longer lifespans.
In India too, the Jains, Brahmins, and Vegetarian Sikhs tend to live the longest. So keep that in mind about protein intake. As I always say, don't overdo it.
If you are following some protein fad overdoing it, one day in future you will understand I was saying the right thing all along. You can abuse me for now.
