July 4th was 10 yrs since Anthony Nuñez was shot & killed by San Jose Police. He was 18 yrs old & had a mental health crisis. His cousin called for help & SJPD shot Anthony within 3 min of arriving. Over the last decade his family has uplifted & fought for Anthony’s name & story.

Yah, this absolutely was a violation of the county detainer policy which explicitly says they cannot “communicate with ICE” regarding someone’s release info. Despite all the press statements and hashtag advocacy, county officials are cowering to ICE and Trump if they allow this.
You DO withhold information from families that’s facts! Feds do not have jurisdiction over county jails or local superior courts. You could have supplied the inmate locator website and kicked them out to the curb! Stop lying. #AbolishIce
