it's not quite productivity related, but… if you're short on New Years resolutions, Taco endorses this one.
in late December, Google will remove Gmail API access for Taco and many other apps. however, Taco supports Google Tasks, so email-specific tasks are still easy.
click "Add to Tasks" in Gmail. Taco will link directly to the original Gmail message.

If you tried to use Taco with @Asana since Oct. 29, it's been broken. We're really sorry and just emailed all active affected users.
We noticed a pattern and found forum.asana.com/t/asana-is-m…. As far as we can find, none of our Asana API email contacts rec'd email about the change🙁

we're trying to make Taco's Chrome extension available again. we didn't receive any notice that it would be removed, nor explanation why it was (we still don't know).

I'm sorry about this! The @googlechrome team removed Taco's extension (which has been working great for years) without notice, notification, or explanation why. We're trying to fix it.

good news! Taco's Chrome extension is available again (tacoapp.com/chrome) and should have automatically started working. back to normal.
(tip: don't depend on the Chrome Web Store in its current state. oversight is opaque, unpredictable, and seemingly done by robots.😞🤖.)
