How is this a multi-trillion dollar company? If you turn Siri off it briefly reverts to iOS 18 lol
I reverted Siri AI back to whatever it was before. This one can't even set a timer. It can't be this hard.

Ben Affleck (Hollywood star & Artists Equity CEO) talks about how he fine-tunes open video models by unfreezing weights and trained only the last cinematic layer so a film crew can hit real production standards. for context, Ben Affleck founded InterPositive in 2022, a 16-person AI shop for film post and Netflix bought it in March 2026 for $587 mn in cash. He needed that model because public video models were trained on his peers' films, and he did not think that was a real business. So InterPositive raised money, shot its own dataset for 8 months on a controlled stage, and used it only as late-stage training. Each new film then trains a private model on its own dailies, so the production keeps the footage and the learning. That is the product Netflix paid $587 million for. ---- From "Bloomberg Live" YouTube channel, (link in comment)

„Algorithms lack the spark of humanity”. What does it even mean? That’s just an empty phrase without any meaning.

So you've probably seen MW2 x Skate 3 x Minecraft, but what about Skyrim x Tarkov x Spiderman. This is so stupid.

This is insane Nearly half of the people who spoke to Griffin didn’t know they were speaking to an AI model Honestly there are so many NPCs on big zoom calls just listening, taking notes, and saying “nothing from my end” so this AI is probably more helpful to listen in / follow up with basic questions on calls without wasting your colleagues time
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

A good example @johnonolan sent me today An Apple Store in Dubai where you have Apple Watches lying around freely with the door open, not secured, not behind glass Right by the front door! A high trust society like we used to have too
I'm noticing Westerners are continously having lower standards every year and seem to not even notice the declining quality standards of everything around them I do notice it and when I tell them (IRL or on here) they make me sound jaded or disconnected from reality as if we expect too much They're literally boiling the frog and most don't notice it Then we fly out to Switzerland, UAE or East and parts of South East Asia and we realize there's nothing to complain about so it's not us, it's the West

And yet there are those who don’t believe there will be persistent online worlds that are tailored exactly to your liking. Reality doesn’t stand a chance.
Seems like ai is about to transform video game industry next
