Translation: Market conditions are not great right now, so let's delay our IPO to extract as much out of retail as possible later on. But let's blame it on safety concerns.
ANTHROPIC FACES CALL TO DELAY MASSIVE IPO OVER AI SAFETY CONCERNS Anthropic has opened discussions with NYC Comptroller Mark Levine after he urged the company to postpone its planned IPO until it addresses AI safety and governance risks. Levine oversees public pension funds holding more than $325 billion in assets and warned that a major AI safety incident after listing could severely damage investors. Anthropic is reportedly targeting an IPO as early as November, following quarterly revenue of $16.8 billion. The key takeaway: AI safety concerns are emerging as a potential obstacle to one of the largest IPOs in history.

decision bench has been cooking for a while at @TextQL and now we're finally taking it public why are we the ones building it? because we're the ones driving AI ROI in the most complex companies in the world
Introducing Decision-Bench, a new industry standard for measuring model capabilities in making ROI-positive decisions on messy enterprise data. Every enterprise has slowed AI investments due to no ROI; AIs still fail at complex decisions, and pricing second order effects.

I left @A24 to start Osmo, a storytelling studio with a software factory. Today, we’re launching @osmo_studio to the public: an end-to-end editable video platform that turns Figma, code and reference videos into fully editable motion. We also raised a $5M seed to build it.

Anthropic’s last round was apparently a bloodbath behind the scenes. A GP at a prominent fund had dinner with Dario three times before their allocation was slashed to zero. At least four other tier-one funds got pulled at the last minute. Their crime? Passing on the Series B, the hardest round Dario ever had to raise (led by Spark). In venture conviction is all that counts.

Blackstone represents the most discerning engineering organizations in the world. We're proud to count them as a partner.
The world’s largest alternative asset manager, @blackstone, leverages TextQL to enhance its data and analytics capabilities. John Stecher oversees technology at Blackstone and across its portfolio. After evaluating a wide variety of analytics tools, he chose TextQL. In John's words, "When I walked out of the first meeting with TextQL, I thought, wow, this is a product that many of our portfolio companies could benefit from."
