FSD 14.3.10 first impression
Standard the entire drive. One hour and 40 miles by the time I got home.
Street driving felt normal with good braking. Hard to put into words. It is more of a feel. Timing on residential roads was right.
Highway stayed in Standard. I run Standard at all times. I believe first-time FSD users will gravitate to that mode. It gives a new user a sense of security. Lane changes were smooth when needed. It avoided a bag in the road. The maneuver was calm with no panic feel.
Parking did not circle and did not hesitate. First open spot and it took it. Best feeling. We all know that moment when you pull into a lot and think alright FSD, what you got, prove me right.
Road Warriors with springs upgrade: Zoom into that photo and check out the drive stats. It’s freaking nuts how efficient my car has gotten since these upgrades. If you’re wanting more range or if you’re a daily commuter. Definitely check these out. I nerd out with people all the time with this improvement. Worth every penny.
Two cons towards the end of my drive:
1.I intervened at a digital no turn on red sign. FSD was creeping and the wheel started the normal turn so I stopped it. Regular metal signs have always been fine. Not sure if digital signs are a struggle for the cameras. Drop a comment if you have seen this.
2.Yellow light timing was off. It wanted to go, hesitated, and left me in the pedestrian lane. The car behind was close so I could not back up. The person who crossed was understanding.
