Cybercab #67 joined the Austin fleet

Tesla just trained first responders on the Cybercab and Model Y Robotaxi today. Here's what you need to know. The official Robotaxi account posted a video showing firefighters and police getting hands-on with the Cybercab, saying feedback from first responders is directly built into the vehicle's design and safe operation. Since the Cybercab has no steering wheel or pedals, the video shows responders learning to move it manually using an on-screen joystick control, similar in style to how astronauts pilot SpaceX's Crew Dragon. The training session was held in Irving, Texas, northwest of downtown Dallas, marking Cybercab operations expanding beyond Austin. Tesla has also published a First Responders Guide and Cybercab is designed to detect emergency vehicles running lights and sirens, automatically slowing and pulling over to the nearest safe stop.
