The secret to life seems to be just doubling down on what works well. Empirical data is superior to almost all else when it comes to unlocking real thriving state as a human.
The truth is, no matter who you are, you don't know THAT much about yourself & your potential. Realizing that creates lots of wonder, you step into the unknown & face the magic of life - terrifying and beautiful at the same time.
However, everyone has instances of things that worked. In personal life, or in business, there are times where the game just got easy. Sometimes through internal factors, sometimes through external ones - but you have to keep a real track of those.
The problem is, most of these just slip by your conscious mind. Or feel unattainable once they're passed. That shouldn't have to be the case. With enough care and attention, you can replicate those and even iterate and improve on those.
And as you walk through the path, more and better things unlock, then you pull the same play of doubling down on what works once more, and then more.. small steps that build big, amazing things.
Trying to understand them so deeply can be another way to place yourself in a rut. It should be in your view and consideration, for sure - but as a secondary thing, ideally. Analysis comes AFTER action, not always before. Or maybe analysis is your superpower (ultra rare) - then double down on it. But don't fool yourself, obviously.
Again, you know very, very little about yourself. And not only that - but also certain (most) things that you think you know about yourself are either outright inaccurate, or limited in view. It's ok to trust the deep intelligence in your being, but it's just as smart to actually trust that more and better (even in ways you can't even comprehend right now) is available to you - as long as you detect, remember, keep track of.. and double down on whatever works well for you.
This comes intuitively to a child, but as ego defenses are built up and you form false identities (everyone does), things start to get muddy. The innate self-trust and trusting life is replaced with trust in authority. Parents, school, books, whatever.. Even the person who rebels against this usually trusts (by replicating) an archetype - it's just self-trust, disowned. You have to get that trust back, because there really is no other alternative, never was. That's why it's the first thing you're stripped away from by society. It makes it way easier to control you. Everyone.
If it's too far removed from you, it's even hard to see the stuff that are working well for you - simply bc they don't match with your self-concept and the worldview all of these defenses form, your brain simply doesn't recognize and register those. It's the real matrix, those old structures. You have to make them the food, the resource that feeds the real thing, the essence.
