1K likes & counting. Reason this resonates with women is because they never imagine they could be the discarded wife. In their minds, they’re the lady getting flown out. And that solipsism is why they rarely condemn rotten behavior. They believe they’ll one day benefit from it.
It doesn’t always work like that oh☹️☹️ When I was working in the bank, one of my colleagues was dating a big man who happened to be one of our major customers. At the time, she still had her boyfriend so we all advised her to just chop the man’s money while maintaining her relationship. 😭 Six months into the relationship, she came to work one day and told us the man wanted to leave his wife and marry her we screamed.. We told her not to make that mistake because we were convinced that if he could leave his wife for her, he could also leave her for someone else. She married him exactly one year into their relationship. Fast-forward to when she had her first pregnancy, the man sponsored her to USA to have their first baby. she sent us chocolate and whenever I’m eating that chocolate, I feel like ntor 🥵😜was attached to it because imagined she listened to our advice? She for still dey do “next customer please with that red bank” She has had her second child with the same man, got a brand-new car as a push present and her mum has travelled to the USA about five times now. Omo, life don pass rich prince falling in love with village girl feem abeg.. Anytime I view her status, I’m always grateful that she followed her mind oh and never listen to us.

I have an unwavering belief that I will make it. Yet one thing terrifies me. I have seen men who did their best, minded their business, believed in God, followed the law, and still ended up poor. I'm trying my best. But I know I'm not the first man to do so. And that scares me.

There's a reason why men tell women that "a man can love his woman and still cheat" and women tell men that "a virgin woman doesn't guarantee a good marriage." They are not particularly stupid as we might conclude. Everyone is just trying to get the best deal out of the market.

Women are natural extremists, for they are both more loyal, and less loyal than man simultaneously. They are less loyal in the sense they are more easily dissatisfied, and more readily prone to betrayal rather then reconciliation once they feel dissatisfied, but more loyal in the sense that if they revere a man, they truly revere that man, and absolutely nothing bad you can say about him can turn her against him. You could slander him or reveal the very worst secrets about him, and she either wouldn’t believe it, or just straight up wouldn’t care. Nothing you say can damage her view of him. He is the exception to her every rule.

As a man you've got to dare. Dare to be different, dare to be calculated, to be private, self-invested, progressive and keep having that mental picture of where you're seeing yourself. As surely as your heart pumps you can live above your birth conditions. You can be anything.

Furthermore, someone being bad to you does not necessarily make them a bad person, just as their goodness towards you does not necessarily make them a good one. Your experience of a person is not an exhaustive account of their character. It is, at best, a partial encounter...
being a good person doesn’t automatically make you a good friend, a good spouse, a good parent, or a good leader. Good intentions are not a substitute for good character. Your impact on people matters more than the image you have of yourself.

The point is that we don't evaluate character in a vacuum. We interpret people through the emotional consequences of our interactions with them. When their behaviour flatters our sense of significance, we are inclined to treat it as a revelation of our uniqueness.

When it threatens our self-esteem, we rationalize it as a revelation of their defects. We personalise what makes us feel special and generalise what makes us feel inadequate. We mistake the version of a person that serves our emotional needs for the truth of who they really are.

1. renounce useless guilt. 2. don’t make a cult of suffering. 3. live in the now (or at least the soon). 4. always do the things you fear the most; courage is an acquired taste, like caviar. 5. trust all joy. 6. if the evil eye fixes you in its gaze, look elsewhere.
Since pain will go around make sure it is meaningful. Make sure you don’t suffer more than you have to. Because the less hellish life is predicated on the meaningful nature of one’s suffering.
