For a long time, I thought βVIPβ on an exchange was basically code for:
You either have serious money sitting on the platform, or you're trading millions every month.
If you weren't doing either, there wasn't much reason to even look at the VIP page in the first place.
So when I saw
@MEXC say you can enter VVIP with an initial M-Score of 350 and no specified asset or trading-volume requirement, I had to look twice.
Because that's a very different starting point.
You don't first have to prove that you're a whale.
You start with an M-Score of 350, enter Standard, and then your M-Score can move based on more than just how much you trade.
Trading and account assets matter, but so do things like security settings and daily activity, including Advanced KYC and passkeys.
And the score isn't fixed either. It can move up or down.
The interesting part for me, though, isn't simply getting a βVIPβ label.
It's what Standard actually gives you.
For example, Standard members can access the vouchers available at their tier without having to make an additional deposit or complete another trading task.
New vouchers are made available every 10 days.
One of those is the APR Booster voucher.
It can add an APR boost to selected Earn products, with each voucher specifying the eligible principal and how long the boost lasts.
Each voucher lists the boost, eligible principal, and duration.
Conditions sit on the voucher, itβs not free extra APR on everything.
So the idea becomes pretty simple:
Get in β check your M-Score β see your tier β see what you can actually use.
And if you want to move higher, the tiers are based on your M-Score:
β€ Standard: 351β599
β€ Premier: 600β799
β€ Elite: 800+
There are different benefits as you move up too.
For example, under the applicable
@MEXC Card Global/APAC promotion:
β€ Standard: 4% cashback, up to 100 USDT/month
β€ Premier: 6%, up to 300 USDT/month
β€ Elite: 10%, up to 800 USDT/month
Those rates aren't just βVIP cashbackβ in isolation. The tier, monthly cap and applicable Card program matter.
That's actually the part I find useful about the whole setup.
VIP doesn't have to start with βhow much money do you have?β
You can start with where you are, see what your membership currently gives you, and then figure out whether moving up actually matters for the way you use the platform.
If you're already on MEXC, check your M-Score:

You might be looking at the benefits page differently once you know what's actually available to you.
