So proud of @thomasfnguyen and co-authors on the publication of this manuscript. Now out in Genetics! See full paper here! academic.oup.com/genetics/ad… Thank you to the editors of Genetics for effiecient handling, and to the peer reviewers for excellent feedback
🎉Excited to share our new preprint on Biorxiv 🥳 We uncover how RNA Polymerase III (Pol3) dynamically regulates tRNA transcription during heat shock (HS) stress! So what did we find? 🧵 biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

New preprint from the Teves lab! We had previously published that TBP is not required for Pol2 transcription in mESCs... What about Pol1? In the preprint below, we try to address precisely this question 1/ biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

We are very excited to present our recent work published in @eLife. elifesciences.org/articles/8… Co-authored with @JamesKw18756415, we show that acute depletion of TBP (TATA-box binding protein) in mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) has no global effect on RNA Pol II transcription.

I would like to thank my amazing co-author @JamesKw18756415 for all the sleepless nights we shared designing and running experiments. I’d also like to thank my labmates, thesis committee, and a big thank you to @dranuliuzozie and the @Lange_Lab for their help with proteomics.

Last but definitely not least, the biggest thank you to our outstanding mentor @sheilateves. This work would not have been possible without her constructive feedback, never-ending support, and amazing mentorship.

A sperm fuses with an egg to form a zygote. After fertilization, the maternal and paternal chromosomes need to migrate and meet in middle of the zygote. Our latest work in @NatureComms reveals how this is achieved in mouse zygotes. (1/5) 🔗tinyurl.com/wghs1 @mpi_bpc
