I asked Minister Helen McEntee for both in the Dáil today. I got neither.
No memo to Cabinet. No Government decision. No date. Just a note saying John Barrett was dismissed on the Garda Commissioner's recommendation.
Instead of answers, Ministers heckled and talked over me.
I am not letting this go.

The HSE has confirmed it does not keep a national count of allegations of sexual abuse or sexual harassment made against its own staff.
The data sits in six separate regions and is never brought together.
So nobody at the top of the HSE can say how many allegations there have been, how many went to the Gardaí, or how many staff were suspended.
This is an organisation that cares for children, older people and people at their most vulnerable. If you don't count it, you can't manage it.
One national record. It's not much to ask.
