Questioning the official reason for war with Nazi Germany ≠ Support for Hitler.
If saving Poland was our real purpose, then not only did we fail but we sacrificed the lives of a million British and Commonwealth soldiers & civilians and incurred massive national debt for nothing.
That's as may be but I am sceptical about the official reasons for entering both world wars.
All wars are bankers' wars.
The noble reasons given are excuses to whip up public support.
