Unsurprising, especially with Frank retiring. Comms at Microsoft is much more of a defensive tool these days, and there's always been significant overlap with CELA comms.

Brad is the most comms-aware and adept senior exec there. I worked closely with him and latterly for him. Makes sense. As long as it is kept totally separate from legal.

Ugh a bit of my area of expertise granted it's purely from an academic point of view but i definitely would've imagined there's plenty of oversight & back and forth between the 2 dep for comms anyways, so I'm not sure what moving the team will achieve...
