Watching Survivor and seeing a disgusting ad by Trump that is “Paid by the US Government” is obscene and unAmerican. @cbs this ad should not be aired. I would hope you all would have more respect for our country. @survivorcbs @CBSNews

China provided intelligence about U.S. troop positions in Jordan. It led to the deaths of American servicemembers. Today, Trump gives Xi the VIP treatment with a red carpet and fancy state dinner. Pathetic.
can't make it up -- the Trump administration is literally rolling a red carpet out right now for President Xi

The G20 should not be held at Trump's Golf Club. Putin should not be at the G20. These should not be hot takes.
JUST IN: The United States has officially invited Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit, which will be held in December at Trump National Doral Miami in Florida. “We believe this will be an opportunity for him to engage not just with Donald Trump but also with world leaders. We hope this invitation will be accepted.” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. Putin last attended a G20 summit in 2019 in Osaka, Japan.

So it looks like Trump has just reaffirmed the security relationship we already had with our democratic ally, Denmark, but he's trumpeting it as some radical breakthrough. Fits a pattern, of course. But if it ends this nonsensical talk about planning to annex Greenland, that's progress.

BREAKINGNEWS: Denmark and Greenland say they have no clue what Trump is talking about. However they agree there is a security agreement that changes nothing about Greenland being a sovereign nation that will determine thier own future. That US has always had large military presence on Greenland. The agreement will be signed next week, if Parliament approves deal. 🚨

Call me crazy, but it seems a little excessive for tax payers to cover the cost for tRump to fly 24 vehicles,19 motorcycles, and 1 Natalie Harp to Ireland for a 48 hour visit so he can attend a golf tournament while voters are unable to afford health-care, food, gas, utilities, or rent.

In the aftermath of 9/11, Steve Buscemi returned to his old fire station, where he had served as a firefighter in the early 1980s. Donning his old uniform, he worked 12 hour shifts for days on end, searching for survivors in the rubble of the World Trade Center. He did so without media attention, a quiet act of courage that later became a powerful symbol of solidarity.

Look at this loathsome repulsive creature yelling at a reporter. In addition to the fact that he’s the worst president in US history, he’s one of the worst human beings on planet earth. His supporters have a very serious defect in their characters.
Seen the video of Trump snapping at a reporter…. Doesn’t look good REUTERS/Evan Vucci

I have an update on my gardener who was taken by ICE. Three big things have happened since then. 1. The neighbors have all come together to help. We hired a good immigration lawyer for him. We also found someone willing to serve as his financial sponsor. That matters because one of the things the government will consider is whether he’s likely to show up for future hearings. Having someone willing to vouch for him, and having deep ties to his family and community, can help. 2. We’ve raised enough money to post a bond if he’s granted one. We think he has a strong case for being released from detention while his case proceeds. He has lived in the United States since he was 16. (He is now 44.) He runs his own business. He has a wife and two young children. He owns his home. And he has many, many people willing to write letters saying that he’s an important part of this community and is not going anywhere. We’ll have to wait to see if it’s granted. Fingers crossed. 3. His lawyer is asking to postpone his court date, which is currently scheduled for next week. This is really important. The Trump administration is trying to move people through the immigration system quickly so it can deport them as fast as possible. His lawyer wants time to gather evidence and build the best possible case for letting him stay. Again, fingers crossed. But this is what really broke my heart. My gardener was finally able to get a call through to his wife two days ago. This strong, confident, capable man was terrified. He didn’t know what to do. Then his wife told him what everyone was doing behind the scenes. He sobbed. I don't know if we are going to get him home. I wish I could tell you that we will. But I do know that we are seeing both the best and worst of American in real time. The worst is a system that can take a man away from his wife and kids and leave him sitting in detention, terrified. The best is a group of people who heard what happened and immediately asked: What can we do? And then they did it. I’m betting on that America.

We, the taxpayers, are giving Natalie Harp a six-figure salary to find nauseating garbage like this for Trump to post.
This is simply vile. Trump is a loser, and an embarrassment to our country.

NEW: Every week, a Philadelphia nun drives to the immigration court in Harlingen, Texas, to sit beside unaccompanied children, some as young as four, who face a deportation judge with no lawyer and no parent. This week, an undocumented migrant who is facing imminent deportation called Sister Rose Kuhn his “angel.” This comes as Catholics across the nation, inspired by Pope Leo XIV, are standing up to the White House’s immigration policies.
