Did a half marathon today. I am very sore but it was a beautiful day for a run in Albuquerque and I am pretty happy with the pace.

Forgot to mention this run was saved by @AppSignal. They didn't alert me of any errors during my run but they did fuel me with conference swag.

I cringe so hard when I see AI writing/marketing. Like using AI is fine but just please take the two extra seconds to review what it wrote and edit out the obvious tells. You're destroying your brand.

I'm not a pen guy by any means but I have landed on Sharpie S Gel as my daily driver with a couple bics lying around as backup because they are bomb proof

I had so many wonderful conversations with so many incredible people, enjoyed every talk, and was blown away by what a cool town Asheville is. Blue Ridge Ruby was an awesome conference!

Claude told me it would take 2 hours to implement this feature and then after doing it in 2 minutes it hallucinated that it took 2 hours "(as planned)". lol

So I got sniped by this idea that simple websites should be under 14kb and now I can't do anything. I wanted to add Turnstile CAPTCHA alternative to an email signup form but now my network tab looks like this. 8 extra requests and just the first javascript request is 16kb...

I did a fun thing! Claude and I churned out a sponsor package builder for the @blastoffrails site because I didn't want to make a bunch of packages that no one really needed.

With the help of @TonsOfFun111 I got a quick first version of an AI consulting feature into my web analytics app using Active Agent. It gives a summary of your traffic for the week and some inferences and recommendations. Very excited to mess around with this.
