Afraid no one else could properly explain the importance of my 2yr old’s life, I wrote “Thank You, Alice” 3 weeks after her unexpected death. Photo of us at her bday party, 10 days prior to her death. #MondayBlogs #eulogy bit.ly/3Lx3THY

Tarik Skubal over the last three seasons: .717 winning percentage 655 strikeouts 95 walks The only other pitchers in MLB history to have a .700+ winning percentage, 600+ strikeouts and fewer than 100 walks over a three-season span are Clayton Kershaw and Pedro Martinez.

A rare olive ridley sea turtle is making history in Orange County. NOAA Fisheries says two nests have been documented, marking the first-ever recorded olive ridley nesting on the West Coast. Video shows Flock walking police through how to monitor a No Kings protest in real time. I do not have to agree with a single sign at that protest to say this plainly: Surveillance aimed at your political opponents today will be aimed at you tomorrow.
Ruh roh. Here is a leaked webinar hosted by Flock demonstrating to police how to track individuals in real time involved in the no kings protests. Maybe you’re thinking “so what?! I don’t go to those and don’t agree with those who did.” Let me remind you, a digital dragnet built to target your political opponents today will be used against you tomorrow. Once the surveillance state is turned on, it watches everyone.

We have to build AI that murders us, because if we don’t, China will build it first, and I don’t want to get murdered by a computer that speaks Chinese. That would be ridiculous.

I’ve been getting many calls on the new CTE study released yesterday. Here are the numbers. Between 2016 and 2021, a total of 878 former NFL players died. Of those, 235 donated their brains to research. From the group of 235, 215 players brains had CTE. This is a crisis.

Due to a mixup in the Ascension hospital pharmacy, FOUR patients received potassium instead of bupivicaine for epidurals before routine joint surgeries. At least one is now paralyzed. The worst error I’ve ever heard of. Hard to see how this could happen. newschannel5.com/news/newsch…

MacFarlane: Some national park service workers are so alarmed, they leaked internal spreadsheets that show where the money is going.  We added the numbers together and found for the white house grounds for the vanity projects, the beautification and the needed upgrades: They've set aside $323 million for this year… $323 million compared to $7 million for the white house in 2024. That's a 5,000% increase.  National mall has a ten fold increase from 2024 for projects that are the president's priority.  Doesn't mean the money is directly being starved out of Yosemite, Yellowstone, Mount Zion, Grand Canyon. But we checked those parks all have significantly less funding allotted for them this year than they did two years ago, and there's a $30 billion backlog of deferred maintenance They are going to have to shortchange important projects throughout America to marshal donated money or taxpayer money on things like a reflecting pool, a helipad, a ballroom, and other vanity projects.

🚨WOW!!! A college student is being praised as a HERO after she saw 3 little girls drowning in Lake Washington, jumped in, and saved ALL THREE GIRLS. The last one was UNCONSCIOUS, underwater, tangled in a rope, only her hair was still floating. All 3 SURVIVED!!!! ❤️ Her name is Lillie Vehling. She is an engineering student at UC Davis and an attacker on the women's water polo team. She was in Seattle for a summer internship and went to Seafair for the very first time, sitting at Genesee Park waiting on the Blue Angels with a book in her hands. Then she scanned the water. Three girls were out past the buoy line, bobbing, screaming, going under. She is a certified lifeguard who started her own swim lesson program, so she knew exactly what she was looking at. One of the girls was pushing the other two under just to get a breath. That is when she went in. She grabbed that girl first, to stop her from taking the other two down with her. Got her to shallow water. Went back for the second one. Then she went back a third time. By then the third girl was already gone under. Lillie: "I just saw her black hair in the water barely floating." The child was unconscious AND tangled in the rope of a buoy she had been clawing at to save her own life. Lillie got an arm under her, lifted her head out of the water, and hauled her to shore. The little girl coughed up the lake and came back. Seattle Fire paramedics met them on the beach. One girl went to Seattle Children's Hospital in stable condition. All three lived. Seafair's president found her that same day. Her first question was whether Lillie was okay. Her second was whether she could give her a hug. That night they brought her to the gala and knighted her "Lady Guardian of Lake Washington." Admirals lined up to meet her. And Lillie? She is chasing a career in the nuclear Navy. Seafair's president says she hopes the next time Lillie comes back to that lake, it is in a Blue Angels cockpit. "To save three people, I didn't think twice about myself." GOD BLESS Lillie Vehling, and GOD BLESS the firefighter who raised her. THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
